Note. This is an examination for direct detection of the causative agent of COVID-19 (i.e. SARS-CoV-2 RNA) by RT-PCR, so it is not a so-called "rapid test".

NOTICE

For persons who do not meet the indication criteria recommended by the WHO and ECDC and respected in the Czech Republic, the test result only considers the moment of material collection. No further information on the presence of the virus on mucous membranes in asymptomatic individuals is known. The result of this test is not proof of infectivity.

This information contains all mandatory information for patients set out in the GDPR Regulation, in particular the contact details of the personal data controller, the categories of personal data processed, the purposes of processing, the legal basis for processing, etc. The patient is hereby expressly informed that his personal and clinical data are processed mainly for the purposes of providing health care, auditing, quality control of examinations and improving diagnostics, while the legal basis for processing is the fulfilment of the contract (e.g. health care contract), fulfilment of legal obligations (especially according to Act No. 372/2011 Coll., on health services, as amended) and the legitimate interest of the administrator, i.e. in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a). b), c), f) of the Regulation and at the same time in accordance with Article 9 (2) (a) (h) Regulation.
